About StretchFormation

Our Approach: Training for Longevity

We help people work out into a healthier body that supports longevity and physical health, not just muscle mass.

Quick answer

StretchFormation was created to give people an alternative path to keep up their health and well-being. Our approach puts the body’s structural foundation (alignment, balanced strength, stability and movement quality) at the center of long-term health.

Our story

StretchFormation was created to provide an alternative path for people who felt good and wanted to keep up their health and well-being, and for those finishing rehab who wanted to keep building. Today we operate inside the JAM Sports and Spine physical therapy facility in North Hollywood.

The missing piece in longevity: structure

As more people track biomarkers like VO2 max and focus on nutrition and supplements, one piece often gets overlooked: the structural foundation of the body. Exercise alone isn’t enough. Improper alignment can feed imbalances, producing short-term gains but long-term setbacks. When your body is better aligned, it is better positioned to breathe, move and stay active as you age, supporting a longer healthspan.

Strength without bulk

We are not a bodybuilding gym. Our training builds lean, balanced strength that supports good alignment and posture, rather than chasing size or overloading muscles. Strong, stable, well-aligned bodies are what let you keep doing the things you love.

Mobility serves strength

Our supporting therapies (assisted stretching, myofascial release, myofascial stretch therapy, gua sha, cupping and Graston technique) are tools to help you access better positions. Our alignment and strength training is how you keep them.

Our principles

  • Whole-person view. We use principles of rehabilitation to look at the whole you, then guide you toward what you need.
  • Position before load. Find good alignment first, then strengthen it.
  • Measure progress. We track alignment and strength gains so your plan evolves with you.
  • Prevention-minded. We aim to help you build a resilient body that is better prepared for an active life.
  • Stay in our lane. We are a training-focused wellness gym, not a medical clinic. We encourage clients with pain or injury to see a licensed provider.

Our team

Our Corrective Exercise and Strength Specialists (C.E.S.S.), Stretch Specialists and soft-tissue therapists each bring their own background and training.
