The core program

Alignment & Strength Training

Our headline program is built on five pillars. Every session works toward a body that holds itself well and moves well, at the desk, in sport and in daily life.

Optimal alignment

Train the stack of head, ribcage and pelvis so joints share load the way they are meant to.

Lean, balanced strength

Build lean muscle, not bulk, with strength that is balanced across the body, so tight muscles don’t have to overwork.

Stability & dynamic posture

Posture isn’t a pose you hold. We train control that holds up while you move, lift and react.

Dynamic movement

Carry new range and strength into real-world movement patterns: walking, bending, reaching, rotating.

Assessment

Not just training: measured progress

Every client gets assessed. Using Kinotek’s LiDAR-based movement assessment, we measure scores and ranges of motion across movements, then train you with our proprietary system and reassess so you can see your numbers improve.

  1. Assess

Move in front of a LiDAR camera, with no sensors to wear, and get a scored 3D movement report.

  2. Train

StretchFormation’s proprietary alignment and strength system targets what your numbers show.

  3. Reassess

Repeat the assessment and compare: Momentum members are reassessed monthly, Performance members weekly.

  4. Track

Follow your mobility scores and ranges of motion over time.

Our philosophy

Train for longevity, not just muscle mass

Many people pursuing healthy aging focus on biomarkers, nutrition and supplements, but the structural foundation of the body often gets missed. Exercise on top of poor alignment can feed imbalances: short-term gains, long-term setbacks. We start with structure, then build strength on top of it.

  • AssessSee how you stand, breathe and move.
  • MobilizeUse supporting therapies to open restricted areas.
  • AlignFind and own better positions.
  • StrengthenLoad those positions with balanced strength.
  • MoveCarry it into dynamic, everyday movement.

Supporting therapies

Mobility & recovery tools that serve your training

These hands-on and instrument-assisted techniques help you get into better positions and move more freely, so you can build strength, alignment and posture in that range. They complement our mobility training and strength work rather than replace it.

Quick answers

What is StretchFormation?

StretchFormation is a Los Angeles wellness gym in North Hollywood offering personalized longevity training, located inside the JAM Sports and Spine physical therapy facility at 12813 Victory Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91606. Our core program trains clients into better alignment, strength, stability, dynamic posture and movement, supported by assisted stretching, myofascial release, gua sha, cupping and Graston technique.

Will strength training make me bulky?

That is not the goal here. We help you build lean muscle, not bulk: our training emphasizes balanced strength, joint stability and alignment rather than maximal muscle size or overloading muscles. Most sessions focus on control, positioning and quality movement patterns that support long-term physical health.

Why combine stretching and soft-tissue work with training?

Tight or restricted areas can make it hard to get into good positions. Supporting therapies like assisted stretching, myofascial release, gua sha, cupping and Graston technique help you access better range of motion, and the training then builds strength and control in that new range so it lasts.

How long is a session and what does it cost?

Sessions are 55 minutes. One-on-one single sessions have been listed at $125, with 10- and 20-session packages and semi-private monthly memberships (small groups of 1 to 4 people) available. See our pricing page for current options.

Where are you located?

We are at 12813 Victory Blvd., North Hollywood, CA 91606, inside the JAM Sports and Spine facility, and work with clients from across Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, including Valley Village, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Toluca Lake and Burbank.
